CTT RIPOLLET is a table tennis club from the town of Ripollet, located in the region of Vallès Occidental (Catalunya) 10 kms away from Barcelona city.
We’ve got 13 competition tables for training sessions in our social sports facilities at the Municipal Centre, and 2 tables more to celebrate the matches of Superdivision Spanish Leagues at the Municipal Sports Pavilion.
At a human level, we certainly assume that the people are the most important feature for a Club, and this has always been our biggest strength
At a sport level, our Club has reached the highest places in our country. Our Club has been the only Club in Spain which has had at the same time both men and women teams participating in all the country Superdivision and Honour Division Leagues, as well as in the First, Second, and Third Division, and during the four last seasons we have reached results unbeaten by any other club in youth categories.
Our best choice has always been to empower the youth, and consequently, all our efforts are addressed to that purpose. We certainly assume that any person who loves table tennis and enjoys practising it, he / she will feel at home in our Club.
We are a very active and live Club, and we work hard and continuously to bring new ideas and original programmes that help to understand, popularise, and empower our sport, paying special attention to school sport.
Since 1998, we have been designing and developing a project of promotion of Miniping-pong. This project gathers at the moment 168 primary schools and 7 secondary schools - more than 26.000 schoolboys and schoolgirls - from eleven towns of the region (Ripollet, Cerdanyola del Vallès, Sant Quirze del Vallès, Barberà del Vallès, Badia del Vallès, Montcada i Reixac, Sabadell, Castellar del Vallès, Palau de Plegamans, Polinyà, and Santa Perpetua de la Mogoda. It also reaches ten towns of other regions (Barcelona, Badalona Sant Adrià del Besos, Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Vilafranca del Penedès, Vilanova i la Getu, Esparraguera, Vic, Manresa, and Granollers). This project is being carried about in collaboration with Foundation Caixa de Sabadell, The Provincial Sports Council (Diputació de Barcelona), The Regional Sports Council, and Generalitat de Catalunya.
