The Objective of our Club: "make school"

The main objective of our club is: "make school".

What do we do understand by "make school" in the sphere of table tennis?

We understand by "make school" a set of actions carried about by our club leading to introduce, make popular, teach, and improve table tennis in its technical and tactic aspects within the population. We pay special attention to the children, especially schoolboys and schoolgirls, without forgetting any other age sector of our society.

How do we manage?

We use imagination, work, professionalism and constancy.

What do we do?

- We design and carry out unprecedented programmes, such as "The Introduction of Miniping-pong at the Schools" in collaboration with Fundació Caixa Sabadell and the Sports Department of Diputació de Barcelona.

- We set up and govern Municipality Schools of Table Tennis in some towns (Ripollet, Cerdanyola del Vallès...).

- We co-ordinate an efficient team of trainers who go to schools of our nearby towns and tech table tennis to schoolchildren (Ripollet, Badalona, Sabadell...)

- We organise school leagues among the school teams of our town and other nearby towns.

- We organise school sport games of table tennis for municipalities and regional councils, at a local, and regional level, as well as interregional and national level.

- We organise social championships for firms in our Clubs headquarters and / or in the very firm's facilities.

- We manage successfully and with excellent results the first Technical Centre of Table Tennis founded in Catalunya (C.T. de Ripollet). More than a dozen of players - boys and girls - started their sport careers in our Club before going to train to CAR (Sant Cugat del Vallès).

What do want to do?

We certainly know that we can do many more things, and do them even better in order to improve the current situation of Table Tennis, and offer more services to the teaching of our sport. There are two very important issues, still in under project, but already in our sport policy:

- Adapted Table Tennis
- Table Tennis for elderly people

as soon as we have outline these two programmes, we promise to carry them out, first in out Club in Ripollet, then in all those other places where we develop our task.
